About

Sibley State Park spans 2,936 acres of diverse terrain in west-central Minnesota, offering camping, hiking, and water recreation opportunities. The park features two main campgrounds with a total of 132 semi-modern campsites, most with electrical hookups. The Lakeview Campground, which underwent major renovation and reopened in May 2025, sits along the shores of Lake Andrew and includes 41 sites with 40 electrical hookups. The campgrounds provide seasonal modern restrooms with hot showers, flush toilets, and a dump station. Beyond the developed campgrounds, the park offers equestrian camping with tie lines and water, three primitive group camps for tent camping, and a large group center that accommodates up to 128 people. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring. The park's landscape features a mix of oak, red cedar, ironwood, and basswood forests, with Mount Tom providing panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Lake Andrew offers swimming, boating, and fishing access. The park operates year-round with an interpretive center that doubles as a winter warming house.
