About

Service Campground occupies a scenic position along the high banks of Coffeeville Lake, the third largest lake on the 457-mile Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway system in southwest Alabama. The 8,800-acre lake stretches 97 miles and provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, crappie, bream, and catfish. A mixed pine and hardwood forest lines the lakeshore, with wood ducks, bald eagles, and other wildlife inhabiting the area. The campground offers 32 sites total: 30 standard electric sites and 2 tent-only sites. Every site includes 50-amp electric and water hookups, a picnic table, lantern holder, and campfire ring with grill. Sites are spacious and private, positioned near or close to the water with several pull-through options available. Facilities include a bathhouse with hot showers and laundry, a dump station, boat ramp, playground, and birding/walking trail. The campground is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and reservations are available through Recreation.gov.
