Scenic Lake Of The Isles Group Camp sits on the southern shore of Lake of the Isles within Scenic State Park, one of Minnesota's most treasured state parks known for its virgin pine forests. This primitive group camp can accommodate up to 60 people and provides a wilderness camping experience for scout troops, church groups, families, and other organized groups seeking a secluded outdoor setting. The site features hand pump water access and includes a fishing pier located right at the group camp, along with a small carry-in boat launch for canoes and kayaks. The campground is surrounded by the park's signature red and white pines, offering both shade and a true north woods atmosphere. The location at the southern end of the park provides a sense of separation from the main campgrounds while still offering access to Scenic State Park's extensive trail system and multiple pristine lakes. Historically, this area was the site of a Civilian Conservation Corps camp in the 1930s that once housed up to 200 men who worked on park development projects. Today, the group camp offers a peaceful retreat where groups can enjoy fishing, hiking, canoeing, and experiencing the preserved old-growth forest ecosystem that makes Scenic State Park a special destination in Minnesota's state park system.

From Bigfork, Minnesota, head east on County Road 7 for approximately 7 miles to reach Scenic State Park. The Lake of the Isles Group Camp is located within the park.
