The hazardous conditions will likely impact today's evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow overspreads the region late this morning into this afternoon from south to north, becoming steady for a period before mixing with sleet and freezing rain late this afternoon into this evening. Precipitation will taper off by early Wednesday morning.

Saratoga Spa State Park is a 2,200-acre National Historic Landmark distinguished by its classical architecture and noted for its diverse cultural, aesthetic, and recreational resources. The park offers 10 reservable pavilions for day-use gatherings that accommodate 50 to 250 people, available seasonally. The park features two swimming pool complexes: the Peerless Pool Complex with a zero-depth entry main pool, 19-foot double slide, and children's wading pool, and the historic Victoria Pool surrounded by arched promenades. Both operate from late June through early September. Recreation opportunities include two golf courses (championship 18-hole and executive 9-hole), 12 miles of trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, and running, ice skating, disc golf, and fishing. Cultural attractions within the park include the nationally-known Saratoga Performing Arts Center, National Museum of Dance, Saratoga Automobile Museum, Spa Little Theater, historic Gideon Putnam Resort and Roosevelt Baths and Spa, and naturally spouting mineral springs. The Creekside Classroom environmental education center offers year-round programming. Winter activities include cross-country skiing with snowshoe rentals available and ice skating.
