About

Located near Hurricane, Utah and just 45 minutes from Zion National Park, Sand Hollow State Park surrounds a scenic reservoir set against red sandstone landscape. The park operates four developed campgrounds: Westside offers full hookups with water, sewer, and electricity plus cabanas at each site; Sandpit has 30 sites with partial hookup and group camping options; Lakeview provides partial and full hookup sites; and Beachside offers non-reservable full hookup sites on a first-come, first-served basis. All developed campgrounds feature fire pits, picnic tables, and access to modern restrooms with showers. Primitive camping is available at 60 designated sites around the reservoir, with pit toilets and picnic tables but fires limited to propane only. Half of primitive sites are reservable, half are first-come, first-served. The reservoir offers boating, fishing, and scuba diving, while Sand Mountain provides extensive OHV riding opportunities. A sewer dump station is available and included with campground stays. Reservations are highly recommended through Reserve America, especially during peak seasons.
