About

Sailor Lake Pavilion is a day-use group shelter situated in a mixed hardwood forest on the northwestern shore of scenic Sailor Lake at approximately 1,460 feet elevation. The pavilion is designed for family reunions, group events, and gatherings of up to 30 people. Amenities include multiple picnic tables, grills, a campfire circle, vault toilets, and drinking water. The facility provides access to the 70-mile Flambeau Trail System, popular with off-road enthusiasts in summer and snowmobilers in winter. The trail features rolling terrain, tree-lined corridors, wooden bridges, and vistas overlooking bogs and lakes. A boat ramp with dock at the adjacent picnic area offers access to Sailor Lake, where anglers can find healthy populations of panfish and northern pike. Note: This is a day-use pavilion only. Overnight camping is not permitted at this site. Campers seeking overnight accommodations should look to the nearby Sailor Lake Campground, which offers 25 RV/tent sites plus walk-in tent sites.
