Sailor Lake Pavilion

Closed — Closed for winter season. The pavilion operates seasonally, typically from late spring through fall.

About

Sailor Lake Pavilion is a secluded day-use group facility situated on the northwestern shore of Sailor Lake at an elevation of about 1,460 feet. The pavilion accommodates up to 30 people and is a popular location for family and group events. The site is equipped with multiple picnic tables, grills, a campfire circle, vault toilets, and drinking water. The pavilion provides access to the 70-mile Flambeau Trail System, which features rolling terrain, tree-lined corridors, wooden bridges, and vistas overlooking various bogs and lakes. The trail system is popular for ATVs, off-road motorcycles, mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling during winter months. A boat ramp with dock is available at the Sailor Lake Picnic Area where the pavilion is located. Sailor Lake offers excellent fishing opportunities with healthy populations of panfish and northern pike. The area is shaded by a mixed hardwood forest and located approximately 11 miles southeast of Fifield. No overnight camping is available at the pavilion site, though the adjacent Sailor Lake Campground offers camping facilities.
