About

Emily Lake Recreation Area sits on the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, offering a peaceful escape into Wisconsin's Northwoods. The 11 campsites are spread along the shore of the 31-acre lake, with most providing water views and easy access to the shoreline. Sites are spacious, with several exceeding 45 feet, and feature gravel parking spurs on paved roads. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, potable drinking water, garbage and recycling dumpsters, fire rings with grills, and picnic tables at each site. There are no hookups or dump stations. Boating and fishing are the main draws, with a paved boat ramp providing access to excellent bass and panfish waters. Motors are permitted on the lake. A swimming area serves as the day-use facility. The surrounding forest offers extensive recreation opportunities including over 800 miles of hiking trails, five designated Wilderness areas, and hunting in season. The town of Park Falls is approximately 20 miles away for supplies and services.
