Connors Lake Campground is a scenic family campground located within Wisconsin's Flambeau River State Forest on the shores of 429-acre Connors Lake. The rustic campground offers 29 campsites in a mixed hardwood and pine forest setting, with two ADA-designated accessible sites and four sites with electric service (sites 7, 9, 10, and 11). The clear waters of Connors Lake provide excellent opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming at the designated beach area accessible from the campground. Campground amenities include two vault toilet buildings, hand pump water, a garbage and recycling station for registered campers, boat access to Connors Lake, and access to a 0.3-mile nature trail. All campsites are available for advance reservation through the Wisconsin State Park System. The campground operates seasonally and provides a peaceful setting for families seeking a traditional camping experience in Wisconsin's Northwoods. Flambeau River State Forest requires campers to follow carry-in/carry-out policies, though dumpsters with recycling are available for registered campers. Firewood can be purchased from private vendors within 10 miles or gathered from dead and down wood on the property. Cell phone service may be poor or nonexistent in many areas of the forest.
