About
Sabrina Campground is a popular destination on the Inyo National Forest, situated at 9,000 feet elevation along Bishop Creek. The campground features 18 campsites, with approximately half in shaded areas and the other half enjoying sunny exposure. Most sites are located in close proximity to Bishop Creek, providing a scenic mountain stream setting. The location serves as an excellent base camp for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. Lake Sabrina is just 3 miles away, and South Lake is about 10 miles distant, both offering excellent fishing opportunities. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with self-registration at the site. This is an active bear area, and all food must be secured in the provided bear boxes when not attended or overnight. The high elevation and proximity to wilderness areas make this a heavily used campground during the operating season. The campground offers vault toilets, picnic tables, and bear boxes at each site, but no potable water or electrical hookups.
Directions
From Bishop, go west on State Route 168 (Line Street) approximately 18 miles. Sabrina Campground will be on your right about 1/2 mile past the turn-off to North Lake.
