About
Sabrina Campground is a high-elevation destination in the Bishop Creek drainage of the Inyo National Forest, situated at 9,000 feet. The 18 campsites are positioned along Bishop Creek, with roughly half offering shade and the other half providing sunny exposure. The campground serves as a base for fishing at Lake Sabrina (3 miles) and South Lake (10 miles). This is a first-come, first-served campground with no advance reservations. Self-registration is required upon arrival. The maximum stay is 7 days. The area is designated as active bear habitat, and all food must be stored in the provided bear boxes when not attended. Dogs are permitted but must remain leashed at all times. The campground has vault toilets and picnic tables but no potable water. Campers must bring their own water or treat water from nearby sources. There are no electrical hookups. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 6 PM.
Directions
From Bishop, head west on State Route 168 (Line Street) for approximately 18 miles. Sabrina Campground is on the right, about half a mile past the North Lake turnoff.
