About

Ryerson Station State Park campground sits on a ridge in Greene County in the southwestern corner of Pennsylvania, near the West Virginia border. The 35-site campground welcomes tents and trailers year-round, offering a range of site types to accommodate different camping styles. Modern tent-only sites feature parking pads, while many sites provide electric hookups with 50-amp service. Select sites offer full hookups including on-site water, 50-amp electric, and sewage connections. All campsites are equipped with fire rings and picnic tables. The campground maintains modern restroom facilities with showers year-round, supplemented by a smaller family-assist restroom from November through April. Additional amenities include a sanitary dump station and coin-operated laundry facilities. Pets are permitted at designated sites for a fee. The campground also features two camping cottages and three deluxe cottages that sleep five people, equipped with electric heat, bunk beds, and nearby shower access. The surrounding 1,164-acre park offers diverse recreational opportunities including a swimming pool, fishing in Duke Lake, hiking trails, picnic areas, and winter activities such as sledding, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. An organized group tenting area accommodates up to 100 people from mid-April through September. While the campground is accessible year-round, access is not guaranteed during severe winter weather conditions.
