Open — Open year-round for reservations. Park office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The seasonal Shadow Lake Splash Zone swimming pool operates Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Roosevelt State Park Campground is located in Morton, Mississippi, between Jackson and Meridian on the edge of the Bienville National Forest. The campground underwent major renovations and now features 110 RV campsites with full hookups including 50-amp, 30-amp, and 20-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. All RV pads and campground roads are paved, and many sites offer stunning views of Shadow Lake or direct waterfront access. The campground is divided into two sections: R.O. Hannah Campground (sites 1-42) and CCC campground (sites 43-109). All sites include picnic tables and grills, with easy access to four renovated bathhouses featuring hot showers and laundry facilities. A central sewage dump station is also available. For those seeking a more rustic experience, a primitive tent camping area is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the upper west end of Shadow Lake, with water access and a nearby bathhouse. The park offers extensive recreational amenities including fishing, boating, and water skiing on the 150-acre spring-fed Shadow Lake, an 18-hole disc golf course, tennis courts, mountain biking and nature trails totaling 4.8 miles, a seasonal swimming pool and water slide complex, kayak rentals, and a camp store. A $2.00 per person entrance fee applies (children 5 and under free).

From I-20 Exit 77, turn onto Highway 13 North and travel approximately 0.5 miles, then turn left into the park entrance.
