About

LeFleur's Bluff State Park sits on 305 acres along the Pearl River within Jackson's city limits, offering a convenient escape for campers visiting Mississippi's capital. The developed campground features 28 sites equipped with water and 30-amp electric hookups, each with a picnic table, fire ring, and barbecue stand. A bathhouse provides hot showers and flush toilets, while a central dump station serves RV campers. Thirty primitive tent sites are scattered in shaded areas near Mayes Lake, ideal for scout groups and tent campers seeking a more rustic experience while remaining within walking distance of water and shower facilities. The 50-acre Mayes Lake offers fishing for bass, bream, catfish, and crappie from accessible piers. Beyond camping, the park features an 18-hole disc golf course, nature trails through the forested grounds, and a playground. The west entrance on Museum Drive provides access to the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and Mississippi Children's Museum, making this an excellent base for families exploring the Jackson area.
