About
Roman Nose State Park campground in northwest Oklahoma provides 47 designated RV sites and tent camping across three distinct areas. Two Lakes RV/Tent Area offers 8 modern RV sites with 50-amp electric service and pull-through parking, accommodating rigs up to 55 feet. Canyon Vista RV/Tent Area is the largest section with 23 RV sites, five of which feature full hookups (electric, water, sewer) and are ADA accessible. Bitter Creek RV/Tent Area caters to equestrians with pull-through sites for horse trailers, horse pen rentals, and 5 semi-modern RV sites with 50-amp service. Comfort stations throughout the campgrounds provide modern restrooms, hot showers (token-operated), and drinking water. The dump station is located in Canyon Vista Campground near the boat ramp. Each site includes a stone picnic table, and fire pits are available. The park also offers 11 cabins and seasonal teepee rentals from April through October. The park is currently affected by Boecher Lake Dam deterioration, which has closed water activities on both lakes until further notice. The dam and trailhead at Two Lakes Campground are closed, though trails remain accessible via the lodge. Despite lake closures, all campgrounds remain operational. Reservations are made through the Oklahoma State Parks reservation system.
