About

Foss State Park occupies the western Oklahoma shoreline of Foss Lake, a 1,749-acre reservoir about 11 miles west of Clinton. The campground includes 212 sites spread across several areas: 93 tent sites, 54 semi-modern RV sites, 45 premium RV sites, and 10 modern RV sites with full hookups. Premium and semi-modern RV sites provide water and 30/50-amp electric service with sites accommodating rigs up to 50 feet. Both pull-through and back-in configurations are available. Facilities include comfort stations with coin-operated showers, a dump station, picnic areas with grills and fire rings, playgrounds, and a gift shop. The park also offers two fully furnished tiny cabins at $110/night, one of which is ADA compliant, plus five palapas at Sunset Beach and group shelters with air conditioning. Recreation centers on Foss Lake with swimming beaches, lighted boat ramps, a seasonal marina, and kayak rentals. On land, visitors can explore hiking and biking trails, a disc golf course, and equestrian trails (bring your own horse). The park sits on historic Cheyenne and Arapaho tribal lands in Custer County.
