About

Aspenglen Campground occupies a scenic location on the east side of Rocky Mountain National Park, just 0.2 miles west of the Fall River Entrance Station. The campground sits at roughly 8,200 feet elevation in a pleasant mix of Douglas fir, lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, and occasional Engelmann spruce, providing a balance of sun and shade. The rushing Fall River borders the campground, creating a peaceful backdrop. The 52 campsites include standard nonelectric sites for both tents and RVs, as well as more secluded walk-to tent-only sites. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring with grate, and tent pad. Paved roads and parking spurs make for easy navigation. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided during the summer season. Food storage lockers are available throughout the campground due to active wildlife including bears, elk, deer, raccoons, and skunks. The campground offers excellent access to Rocky Mountain National Park's attractions, including Trail Ridge Road and Old Fall River Road. The town of Estes Park is a short drive away, offering dining, shopping, and additional recreation. Generators are permitted only in Loop C between 7:30-10:00 a.m. and 4:00-8:30 p.m. There is no dump station at Aspenglen; RV sewage must be emptied at Moraine Park Campground.
