About

Rocky Arbor State Park Campground provides a quiet retreat from the bustling Wisconsin Dells tourist area. Located just 1.5 miles from town, the 89 wooded campsites are nestled among pine forests and striking sandstone formations. The campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and offers modern amenities including flush toilets, showers, and electric hookups at select sites. Each standard campsite includes a fire ring and picnic table in a natural wooded setting. The park features hiking trails through the scenic sandstone bluffs, along with picnic areas and a playground. A dump station and potable water are available on-site. Firewood can be purchased at the park, though Wisconsin restricts moving firewood from outside the local area to prevent the spread of tree pests. Reservations are available through wisconsin.goingtocamp.com. The park property is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., though the campground itself operates only during the summer season. A vehicle admission sticker is required for park entry.
