The campground is located approximately half a mile east of the south shore entrance, providing convenient access to the park's southern amenities including beaches and picnic areas. Three of the sites are rustic and have not been cleared of trees or shrubs, accommodating 40 campers each, while three other sites are designed to accommodate visitors with accessibility needs. Each campsite includes a picnic table, metal fire ring, and gravel or paved parking area. Running water taps are available throughout the camp areas, and the campground has restroom and shower facilities. Registered campers have free access to dump and fill stations. All sites are reservable up to 11 months in advance through wisconsin.goingtocamp.com or by calling 1-888-947-2757. The park draws significant crowds from May through October, especially on weekends and holidays, with parking lots often filling before 9 a.m. The surrounding park offers exceptional hiking on the bluffs above Devil's Lake, swimming at the beach areas, and access to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
