* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow accumulations around 1 to 3 inches with a storm total around 2 to 5 inches. The highest amounts will be along the western facing slopes. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations 6 inches or more are possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...In Maryland, Eastern Garrett and Western Garrett Counties. In West Virginia, Western Grant, Western Mineral, and Western Pendleton Counties. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 10 AM EST this morning. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...For the Winter Weather Advisory, plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions along with significant reduction in visibility. The strongest winds are expected through this morning. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Robert W. Craig Campground sits in the rugged hills of West Virginia's Allegheny Mountains, overlooking the 952-acre Jennings Randolph Lake. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this established campground offers 68 spacious electric campsites divided between front and back loops, each providing up to 50-amp service. The campground is staffed by full-time park attendants and volunteer hosts who maintain the family-friendly atmosphere. Facilities include a shower house with full bathrooms in the front loop, a no-shower bathroom facility in the back loop, a water fill-up station, and a dump station. The campground features a camp store, pavilion with electricity and running water, and ADA-accessible facilities. Each site accommodates two camping units, with the second being a tent. Recreation opportunities abound with several hiking trails including the Sunset Trail, High Timber Trail (featuring 28 labeled tree species), and Songbird Trail. The campground offers a 3D archery range, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, playground, sandbox, and swing sets. Kalbaugh Pond behind the camp store is stocked with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, and catfish. The lake provides excellent boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities, and the area has been home to breeding bald eagles for over a decade. Just a mile away, the North Branch of the Potomac River ranks among the East Coast's finest trout fisheries and offers exceptional whitewater rafting.
