Deep Creek Lake State Park Campground sits at 2,500 feet elevation in Garrett County, Maryland, offering camping on the state's largest freshwater lake. The Meadow Mountain campground spans five loops: Delphia Brant (pet-free), George Beckman, John Garrett, Meshach Browning, and a Spur Loop. Sites range from basic tent pads to electric hookup sites suitable for RVs. Two mini cabins and one yurt provide alternative accommodations, each sleeping six with electricity and heat. The campground features heated bathhouses with flush toilets and showers, a dump station, and a freshwater fill-up station. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring. A park store operates within the park, and free boat trailer overnight parking is available with registration. Deep Creek Lake spans 3,900 acres with 65 miles of shoreline. The park offers a swimming beach, boat ramp, marina with canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rentals, and access to the Meadow Mountain Trail system for hiking and mountain biking. Winter activities include cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The Discovery Center provides interpretive programs and nature exhibits.

From I-68, take Exit 14A onto Route 219 South. Continue approximately 18 miles to Glendale Road. Turn left onto Glendale Road, then turn left onto State Park Road. The park entrance is at 898 State Park Road, Swanton, MD 21561.
