In West Virginia, Eastern Grant, Eastern Mineral, Eastern Pendleton, and Western Mineral Counties. * WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest wind chills will be at elevations above 2000 feet between midnight tonight and 9 AM Tuesday.

Deep Creek Lake State Park, located in Garrett County, Maryland, encompasses over 1,800 acres adjacent to the 3,900-acre Deep Creek Lake. The park offers a variety of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking. The Meadow Mountain campground features 112 campsites, with 26 offering electric hookups, as well as two mini cabins, one yurt, and the Bear Den shelter. Amenities include heated bathhouses, a dump station, and freshwater fill-up stations. The park also boasts a Discovery Center with educational exhibits and programs, and 20 miles of hiking and biking trails. The day-use area provides two sandy beaches, picnic areas with grills, playgrounds, and a boat launch. Pets are permitted in designated areas and loops within the campground. The park is open from April 15 to December 15, with day-use hours from 8 a.m. to sunset and trail hours from sunrise to sunset.

From Route 219, turn onto Glendale Road. Cross the Glendale Bridge, then immediately turn left onto State Park Road. Continue for one mile to reach the park facilities.
