Winds gusting as high as 45 mph creating blowing and drifting snow and at times white out conditions. * WHERE...Greatest snow amounts will be found near Watertown and Fort Drum areas and also southward to across the Tug Hill region. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible at times within lake effect snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday through Wednesday commutes. Gusty winds will down tree branches and cause isolated power outages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect snowband oscillation. Snowfall rates up to 4 inches per hour at times for the Tug Hill region Monday night through Tuesday night. Wind chill values zero to 10 below zero Monday night through Tuesday night.

Robert G Wehle State Park preserves the former estate of Mr. Wehle, encompassing 1,100 acres and over 17,000 feet of spectacular Lake Ontario shoreline. This unique park offers an exclusive residential compound available for rent, featuring a main cottage with sun porch, two spacious bedrooms with private baths, living room with fireplace, and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The guest cottage provides two additional bedrooms with private baths and a kitchenette, while a former artist's studio serves as a recreation room with foosball, pool table, air hockey, shuffleboard, and chess tables. The compound accommodates up to 8 people and includes linens, towels, and kitchenware. Beyond the compound, visitors can explore over 10 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails through undeveloped parkland, enjoy tennis, picnicking, and cross-country skiing in winter. The cliff-side location offers stunning views but may not be suitable for families with young children. The park is open year-round from dawn to dusk, with hunting permitted in designated areas during season by permit only.
