About

Cedar Point State Park occupies a prime location on the St. Lawrence River in the heart of the Thousand Islands region. Established as one of New York's oldest state parks, it offers 165 campsites ranging from tent sites to full-hookup RV sites with 15, 20, 30, and 50 amp electric service. Water and sewer hookups are available on select sites, and pull-through options exist for easier RV maneuvering. The park's waterfront setting provides excellent recreational opportunities including a sheltered sandy swimming beach with lifeguard supervision, a boat launch with rental services, a fishing pier, and a full-service marina with dockage and pump-out station. Campground amenities include restroom facilities with showers, a dump station, playgrounds, volleyball courts, and picnic areas with grills. Situated 6 miles west of Clayton on Route 12E, Cedar Point serves as an ideal base for exploring the Thousand Islands. The 14-night maximum stay rule applies, and reservations can be made up to 9 months in advance through ReserveAmerica.
