About
Riders Camp in the Manastash Ridge area of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest is a premier destination for motorized and equestrian recreation. Situated at 4,200 feet elevation, the camp offers access to an extensive network of rugged trails ideal for dirt biking, ATV riding, and horseback riding through dense forests with stunning Cascade Mountain views. The area provides opportunities for fishing, hiking, and wildlife watching in nearby wilderness areas. This dispersed camping area caters specifically to OHV users and horse campers, with vault toilets available but no potable water on-site. During fall hunting season, the camp sees heavy use from hunters. The camp operates on a first-come, first-served basis with minimal amenities, making it ideal for self-sufficient recreationists seeking backcountry access. Access to the area is subject to seasonal road closures in the Table Mountain Area, with motorized vehicle restrictions on most roads between October 15 and June 15 annually to protect wildlife during calving and fawning seasons and prevent resource damage during wet periods.
