The campground operates seasonally from June through snowfall. Currently closed for the season. First-come, first-served only with no advance reservations. Campers must bring their own water as none is available on site.

For the Smoke Air Quality Alert, wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels. Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health problems. About
Icewater Creek Campground is a rustic 15-site campground nestled along Taneum Creek in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest at 2,700 feet elevation. The campground serves as a basecamp for hikers and motorcyclists, providing direct access to North Fork Taneum Trail #1377 and featuring a beginner-friendly single-track motorcycle loop that originates within the campground. ATVs and Jeep trails are not permitted. This is a first-come, first-served campground with no advance reservations. Campers must physically arrive to claim and pay for a site. Facilities are basic with vault toilets available but no potable water, so visitors must bring their own water supply. Directions
Take I-90 Exit 93 (Elk Heights/Taneum Creek). Go north about 0.25 mile to Thorp Prairie Road. Turn right and go about 3.5 miles to East Taneum Rd. Turn right and cross over I-90 to West Taneum Road/Forest Service Road 33. Turn right and travel 8.5 miles. Campground is on the left.
