Icewater Creek Campground is a rustic 15-site campground nestled along Taneum Creek in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest at 2,700 feet elevation. The campground serves as a basecamp for hikers and motorcyclists, providing direct access to North Fork Taneum Trail #1377 and featuring a beginner-friendly single-track motorcycle loop that originates within the campground. ATVs and Jeep trails are not permitted. This is a first-come, first-served campground with no advance reservations. Campers must physically arrive to claim and pay for a site. Facilities are basic with vault toilets available but no potable water, so visitors must bring their own water supply. The campground operates seasonally from June through snowfall, with exact dates dependent on weather conditions.

Directions

Take I-90 Exit 93 (Elk Heights/Taneum Creek). Go north about 0.25 mile to Thorp Prairie Road. Turn right and go about 3.5 miles to East Taneum Rd. Turn right and cross over I-90 to West Taneum Road/Forest Service Road 33. Turn right and travel 8.5 miles. Campground is on the left.
