About

Ice Water Creek Campground is located along Taneum Creek in the Cle Elum Ranger District of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest at 2,700 feet elevation. The campground offers 15 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Campers can access the North Fork Taneum Trail #1377 directly from the campground, and a beginner motorcycle loop trail originates within the campground area. This is a popular spot for motorcycle enthusiasts, though only single-track trails are allowed; ATVs and Jeep-style vehicles are not permitted on the trails. The campground operates seasonally from June through snowfall, typically closing when winter conditions arrive. Facilities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits at each site, but no potable water is available. Campers must bring their own water supply. The fee is $24 per night for a single site, with an additional $11 charge for extra vehicles. Payment can be made via cash, check, or the Scan & Pay mobile app. The campground is located about 8.5 miles from Interstate 90 via Forest Service Road 33.
