Closed — Closed for the season. Campgrounds in the Naches Ranger District typically open Memorial Day weekend and operate through early October. Water systems are shut off in mid to late September.

Little Naches Campground is nestled along the Little Naches River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, where craggy peaks, mountain meadows, and old-growth forests create a stunning Northern Cascades setting. The campground offers 17 sites with back-in parking spurs ranging from 20-50 feet long, including a multi-family site. Interior campground roads and parking spurs are hard-packed but not paved, suitable for RVs up to 32 feet. The campground provides excellent access to a variety of outdoor activities. Fishing and swimming are popular in the adjacent Little Naches River, while nearby trails like Frost Mountain Lookout Trail and Kaner Flat Trail offer scenic hikes through mixed conifer forests and mountain meadows. Whitewater enthusiasts can explore the nearby American River. The campground sits at 2,550 feet elevation in a region used historically by Native Americans and settlers as a natural corridor between the east and west sides of the Cascades. Most sites are reservable through Recreation.gov with only two sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground offers vault toilets and hand-pump drinking water, though water systems are typically shut off in mid to late September. No electrical hookups are available, and visitors should be prepared to pay camping fees with cash or check.

Directions

From Naches, travel west on Highway 12 for 4.4 miles. Continue straight onto Highway 410 W for 24.2 miles. Turn right on Little Naches Road/Forest Road 19 and go 0.1 mile. The campground is on the left side of the road.
