Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.
Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products

Portion of Forest Service Road 1003 (Tom Creek Road) closed
A portion of Forest Service Road 1003, also known as Tom Creek Road, is closed. The road closure starts at the junction of FSR 10 and FSR 1003 and includes the first 4.1 miles of FSR 1003 to the junction with the 1003-416 and 1003-409 roads.
Sno-park Permits required Nov. 1 to Apr. 30
Sno-Park Permits are required to park in designated sno-parks from November 1 through April 30. Sno-Park Permits are managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).

About
Red Diamond Campground offers groups seeking a more rustic riverside experience a quiet, primitive setting along the South Fork McKenzie River in Willamette National Forest. This group site accommodates up to 25 people and 10 vehicles, providing ample shade from Douglas fir, maple, and alder trees during warm summer days. The campground is laid out on one loop with picnic tables, campfire rings, and plenty of parking space. The South Fork of the McKenzie River flows adjacent to the campground, offering excellent opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. The river is a tributary of the Willamette River and runs for 90 miles through the Cascade Range. Cougar Reservoir is just a short drive north of the campground. The surrounding area provides numerous hiking and mountain biking opportunities, including the Box Canyon Trail Area, Chucksney Mountain Trail, Grasshopper Mountain Trail, and Roaring Ridge. The Three Sisters Wilderness Area, with 260 miles of trail through 286,708 acres of wild terrain, is nearby. The campground is located 13 miles south of Cougar Reservoir along Aufderheide Drive (Forest Service Road 19), a scenic byway through the western Cascades. Portable toilets and trash collection are provided, but campers must bring their own water supply as none is available on-site. The remote location and primitive amenities make this an ideal spot for groups seeking a more backcountry camping experience while still having vehicle access.
Directions
From Blue River, travel 4 miles east on Highway 126 to Aufderheide Drive (Forest Service Road 19). Turn right and proceed south on Aufderheide Drive, taking the Y and climbing to the top of Cougar Reservoir. Continue south on Aufderheide Drive for 13 miles to Red Diamond Group Campsite.
