* WHAT...South swell from 190 degrees with a period of 18 to 19 seconds will generate surf of 4 to 7 feet with sets up to 8 feet. High rip current risk. * WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN...From late Monday night through Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Hazardous swimming conditions and a high rip current risk. If you become caught in a rip current, yell for help. Remain calm and do not exhaust yourself and stay afloat while waiting for help. If you have to swim out of a rip current, SWIM PARALLEL TO SHORE and back toward the beach when possible. Do not attempt to swim directly against a rip current as you will tire quickly. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest surf will be at south-facing beaches and peak Tuesday and Wednesday. Swell and surf will slowly subside beginning Thursday with a shorter period, but will remain elevated into Friday.

Bolsa Chica State Beach Campground sits along the Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, offering 50 campsites designed exclusively for self-contained RVs. Each site measures 20 feet wide and 30-40 feet long, equipped with electric and water hookups. The campground requires factory-built RVs with running water, internal flushable toilet with holding tank, shower, and cooking facilities. Tent camping and pop-outs/awnings are not permitted. Front-row sites on the beach side run $70 per night, while back-row sites along the highway side cost $60 per night, with a $2 senior discount available. The campground provides a dump station, outdoor rinsing showers between lots, and wheelchair-accessible flush restrooms with showers. Three ADA-accessible sites with full hookups are available. The beach offers approximately 200 fire rings available on a first-come, first-served basis. A 2.9-mile paved multi-use trail runs through the area, and beach wheelchairs are available free of charge. Spencer Ramps provide accessible pathways to the tide line.
