Moro Campground occupies a prime location on coastal bluffs within Crystal Cove State Park, offering sweeping Pacific Ocean views and direct access to extensive trail networks. The campground features 58 family campsites, including 28 sites designated for RVs and trailers with hookups, and 30 low-impact sites for soft-sided trailers, van conversions, and tents. Three ADA-accessible sites are available in each category. Modern amenities include restrooms and showers throughout the campground. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring over 2,400 acres of undeveloped backcountry in Moro Canyon, with fire roads and single-track trails open to hiking, biking, and equestrian use. Trails are accessible from 6am until sunset. The location provides both the convenience of developed camping facilities and proximity to wilderness exploration, though the park's backcountry areas do not allow pets. Reservations are made through Reserve California and include parking for one driven vehicle and one legally towed vehicle.

Directions

Moro Campground is located off Pacific Coast Highway between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach. Access is via the park's main entrance, with clear signage directing visitors to the campground.
