All sites include picnic tables, fire rings, outdoor grills, and lantern posts, with nearby flush restrooms and showers. Anglers can fish from shore or piers without a fishing license. The park features miles of multiuse trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, including connections to the 20-mile Greenbelt Corridor that runs to Lake Lewisville. DORBA mountain biking trails and equestrian trails add to the recreational diversity. The Johnson Branch Nature Center offers interpretive programs, and rangers lead guided hikes and educational programs throughout the year.
