About

Ranch Camp is a small, primitive campground at Spring Valley State Park in Lincoln County, Nevada, situated two miles north of the main Horsethief Gulch Campground. The seven sites offer a quieter alternative for campers seeking a more remote experience near Eagle Valley Reservoir. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, grill, and fire ring. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Amenities are limited to vault toilets and potable water; there are no hookups, showers, or dump station at this location. A developed hiking trail connects Ranch Camp to the Stone Cabin area, providing additional exploration opportunities. Spring Valley State Park is open year-round, 365 days a year. Camping is limited to 7 days within any 30-day period. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Only registered off-highway vehicles with state DMV registration and insurance may operate within the campground.
