About

Raccoon Ridge Campground sits within Harry S Truman State Park along the 55,000-acre Truman Lake, one of Missouri's premier fishing destinations known for crappie, bass, spoonbill, and catfish. The campground offers electric family campsites in a wooded setting with paved, level pads. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Facilities include a showerhouse with restrooms, laundry facilities, and a centrally located dump station. Seven electric sites in the Raccoon Ridge loop are designated ADA-accessible, and the showerhouse is fully accessible with designated parking. The park features a marina with boat slips, swimming beaches, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and hiking trails. Reservations are available through the Missouri State Parks reservation system up to 12 months in advance. Harry S Truman State Park is designated as a value camping location, offering reduced rates compared to standard Missouri state park campgrounds. Camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.
