Raccoon Ridge Campground sits within Harry S Truman State Park on the shores of Truman Lake in west-central Missouri. This year-round campground features 27 electric sites with pads ranging from 48 to 60 feet in length, making it suitable for a variety of RVs and trailers. The campground includes one family campsite with an additional 55 x 12-foot pad, offering extra space for larger groups. All campsites are equipped with a fire pit, picnic table, and lantern hanger. The campground provides restrooms and showers, though water systems and showerhouses are turned off during the off-season, requiring campers to bring their own potable water during winter months. A dump station is available when water systems are operational. The nearby Truman State Park Marina offers ice and other camping supplies. The campground is fully reservable through the Missouri State Parks reservation system up to 12 months in advance. Truman Lake provides excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, and water recreation, while the park's peninsula location offers scenic views and wildlife viewing opportunities. Campers have reported seeing deer, raccoons, armadillos, and various bird species around the campground.

From Warsaw, Missouri, take US-65 south to MO-7 west. Continue on MO-7 for approximately 5 miles, then turn north onto State Park Road. Follow signs to Raccoon Ridge Campground within Harry S. Truman State Park.
