About
Bledsoe Ferry is a US Army Corps of Engineers recreation area located below Harry S. Truman Dam on Harry S. Truman Reservoir in Benton County, Missouri. The facility provides group shelter camping with four large shelters available for reservation, each accommodating up to 48 people with grills, picnic tables, and parking for up to 10 vehicles. The park sits among the rolling hills and rocky bluffs of the Ozark Plateau, surrounded by mature oak, hickory, and cedar trees. Wildlife including whitetail deer, turkey, hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles frequent the area. Harry S. Truman Reservoir contains excellent fishing for crappie, largemouth bass, walleye, paddlefish, and catfish, with approximately 8,800 acres of standing timber left in the lake to provide quality aquatic habitat. Facilities include flush and pit toilets, drinking water, an accessible boat ramp, courtesy and fishing docks, and a dump station. The nearby Harry S. Truman Visitor Center atop Kaysinger Bluff offers exhibits about the Osage River Valley and spectacular views of the dam and reservoir.

From Highway 7, travel north on the Dam Access Road for 2 miles and follow signs to the day-use area.
