Bobcat Run Campground is part of Harry S Truman State Park, located on Truman Lake in Benton County, Missouri. The park sits in the scenic Ozark foothills and offers access to one of the region's largest reservoirs. Bobcat Run's nine premium electric sites feature 50-amp service and pads designed to accommodate vehicles up to 71 feet in length, making it suitable for larger RV rigs. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hook. The campground is positioned within 500 yards of the park's centrally located shower house, which provides hot showers and modern restroom facilities. Additional park amenities include a dump station and laundry facilities. Harry S Truman State Park also features a marina, two-lane boat ramp, swimming beach with changehouses, and hiking trails. The park is designated as a value camping location, offering lower rates compared to other Missouri state parks. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system. The campground is popular during peak season and sites often fill months ahead for high-demand weekends.

Directions

From Warsaw, Missouri, take US-65 south for approximately 5 miles. Turn west onto State Highway 7 and continue for about 3 miles. Then, turn north onto County Road UU and follow the signs to Harry S Truman State Park. Bobcat Run Campground is located within the park.
