About

Buck Ridge Campground is part of Harry S. Truman State Park, situated on a scenic peninsula extending into Truman Lake in western Missouri. The campground provides a heavily wooded setting with tall trees offering shade while still allowing dappled sunlight through the canopy, creating a refreshing atmosphere for campers. The facility features 61 premium electric sites available year-round, with camping pads ranging from 50 to 70 feet in length to accommodate various RV sizes. Six designated family sites include extra camping pads, additional picnic tables, and electric hookups for larger groups. All campsites are equipped with standard amenities including a lantern hook, fire ring, and picnic table. Buck Ridge offers modern conveniences with a clean shower house, restroom facilities, and laundry services. The campground's location on Truman Lake provides excellent access to water recreation, fishing, and boating opportunities.
