Wild Turkey Ridge Campground is one of six campgrounds at Harry S Truman State Park, located on a scenic peninsula jutting into Truman Lake. The campground offers 23 basic campsites that operate year-round, making it a reliable option for camping in any season. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hook. Pad lengths range from 45 to 71 feet, accommodating various RV and trailer sizes. The family campsite includes a secondary pad measuring 58 x 12 feet. Water spigots are located between select campsites for convenient access. The campground provides access to park amenities including showerhouses, water, and a dump station during the main season. However, these facilities are turned off during the off-season, so campers must bring their own potable water during winter months. The campground is fully reservable through the Missouri State Parks system up to 12 months in advance, though walk-up sites may be available on a day-by-day basis if not reserved. ADA accessible sites with concrete pathways to water hydrants are available. The park offers abundant wildlife viewing, hiking trails, fishing, and boating opportunities on Truman Lake's clear waters.

From Warsaw, MO, take US-65 N to MO-7 W. Continue on MO-7 W for approximately 5 miles, then turn right onto State Park Road. Follow signs to Wild Turkey Ridge Campground within Harry S Truman State Park.
