Total snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches, except up to 10 inches above 2500 feet. * WHERE...For the Winter Weather Advisory below 2000 ft, this includes Medford, Ashland, Gold Hill, Jacksonville, Applegate, Shady Cove and Eagle Point. This also includes portions of I-5 and Highways 140, 238, 62 and 234. For the Winter Storm Warning, this includes Prospect and Butte Falls. This also includes portions of I-5, Highways 140, 238, 62 and 227, and includes Jacksonville Hill on State Highway 238 at 2150 ft. * WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel may be very difficult to impossible. Valley of the Rogue State Park is a year-round campground located along the scenic Rogue River in Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley, conveniently positioned between the river and Interstate 5 near Gold Hill. The park features three miles of river frontage and offers a full range of camping options for RVs, tents, and those seeking alternative accommodations. The campground includes 92 full-hookup sites with water, electric, and sewer connections, plus 53 additional sites with electric and water hookups. Many sites can accommodate large RVs, with some pull-through sites reaching up to 100 feet in length. For tent campers, there are dedicated tent-only sites, and the park also features 13 yurts, some of which are pet-friendly. Group tent camping areas and a meeting hall are available for larger gatherings. Amenities at Valley of the Rogue include flush restrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities, a donation-based dump station, and firewood for sale. The park offers river access for fishing, boating, and swimming, along with an easy 1.25-mile self-guided interpretive walking trail. The campground's location makes it an ideal base for exploring Southern Oregon or a convenient overnight stop for I-5 travelers.
