About

Grass Point State Park occupies a scenic point of land that projects into the American Channel of the St. Lawrence River, an area known for some of the best fishing in the country. The park is a popular destination for campers and day-users who come to boat, swim, fish, picnic, or simply relax along the shoreline. The campground features 53 tent sites and 19 RV sites with 20-amp electric hookups, accommodating up to six people per site. The park offers a marina and boat launch for easy water access, a sandy beach with shallow water perfect for children, and open grassy lawns for games and activities. On the west side of the beach sits the Grass Point cottage, a two-story full-service rental accommodation with a screened-in porch offering outstanding river and sunset views. The cottage includes a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and all bedding and linens. Located in the Thousand Islands region near Alexandria Bay, Grass Point provides access to excellent boating, world-class fishing, and exploration of the scenic St. Lawrence River. The park also features two rental pavilions that can accommodate up to 60 people each, making it suitable for group gatherings. With views of nearby Rock Island Light and proximity to other state parks in the area, Grass Point offers a quintessential Thousand Islands camping experience.
