About

DeWolf Point State Park is a compact 12-acre retreat on Wellesley Island in the heart of the Thousand Islands region. The park sits along the Lake of the Isles, an inlet of the St. Lawrence River, offering direct water access for fishing, boating, and paddling. Half of the 14 campsites are positioned on the waterfront, and each site includes a fire pit and picnic table. The 14 rustic cabins are arranged in two loops and accommodate up to four guests. The park provides showers, restrooms, recycling stations, and a stone gazebo available for events. A boat launch and dockage for vessels under 26 feet make this an ideal base for exploring the Thousand Islands by water. Fishing is popular year-round, including ice fishing in winter months. All campers at DeWolf Point receive complimentary access to the recreational facilities at Wellesley Island State Park, located nearby. Campsites are non-electric and accommodate up to six people with either two tents or one RV. The 20-foot maximum driveway length limits RV size. Pets are welcome at campsites with a two-pet maximum and leash requirement.
