About

Cumberland Bay State Park is the largest camping complex in the Thousand Islands/Lake Champlain region, offering more than 400 campsites spread across four loops on the west shore of Lake Champlain. The park is popular for its expansive natural sand beach, excellent fishing, and full-service marina. Campsites feature picnic tables and fire rings, with water spigots distributed throughout the campground. The 300 Loop offers 20 electric hookup sites that book quickly when reservations open. All other loops are non-electric tent and trailer sites with varying pad lengths from 20 to 50 feet, all back-in configuration. Free showers, laundry facilities, a dump station, and a convenience store are available. The park's restrooms, showers, and many campsites are ADA accessible. Beyond camping, the park provides swimming with seasonal lifeguards, boating, canoeing, volleyball, basketball, and playground facilities. The beach and waterfront sites offer views across Lake Champlain. Pets are permitted with a maximum of two per site on a 6-foot leash, though they are not allowed on the beach.
