About
Kingsland Bay State Park occupies 264 acres on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain in Ferrisburgh, Vermont. The park is centered around the historic Hawley Farm and features a small beach, boat rentals, hiking trails, and several buildings available for group events. Much of the southern portion of the park, including McDonough Point and Hulbert Point, is a State Designated Natural Area. The only overnight camping option is a single remote tent site located on the northern side of Hulbert Point, part of the Champlain Paddler's Trail. This site accommodates up to 8 people and requires paddling or boating in with all gear. The rest of the park functions as a day-use facility with picnic pavilions, a group shelter, and the Hawley House available for rentals. Pets are allowed at the remote tent site but are prohibited elsewhere in the park. Composting toilets are available, and the park has water spigots, picnic tables, and grills at the day-use areas. There are no showers, hookups, or traditional campground amenities. The park operates seasonally from late May through mid-October.
