About

Point Au Roche State Park sits on the northwestern shore of Lake Champlain in Clinton County, featuring a mixture of open and forested areas that remain largely natural and undeveloped. The park's day-use area includes a protected sandy swimming beach open seasonally from late June through Labor Day, along with picnic facilities, playground equipment, and playing fields for volleyball and softball. The park offers 60 designated mooring sites in Deep Bay for boaters, with boat launches available year-round. An extensive trail system winds through diverse habitats including forest, marsh, and shoreline, supporting hiking, biking, nature walks, and cross-country skiing. The Nature Center operates year-round Thursday through Monday and hosts educational programs. Two pavilions are available for group day-use rentals accommodating up to 50 people each. This is a day-use only facility with no overnight camping permitted.
