About
Higley Flow State Park sits in the scenic foothills of the Adirondack Mountains along the Raquette River in Saint Lawrence County. The campground offers 133 well-spaced sites arranged across six loops (A through F), each nestled among pine trees for privacy. The terrain is hilly and heavily wooded, with a sandy beach on the river reservoir serving as the centerpiece for swimming and relaxation. Campground amenities include hot showers, restrooms, a dump station, and a water fillup station. Electric hookups are available at various amperages (15, 20, 30, and 50 amp), though water and sewer hookups are not provided. Every site features a blacktop driveway, picnic table, and fireplace. Both back-in and pull-through sites accommodate equipment lengths from 20 to 40 feet. ADA-accessible sites are available throughout the campground. Beyond camping, the park offers boating, canoeing, fishing, and hiking on nature trails. A visitor center and playground are on-site. Winter visitors can enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing when the campground is closed.
