Cloudland Canyon State Park encompasses some of Georgia's most dramatic scenery on the western edge of Lookout Mountain. The park features thousand-foot-deep canyons carved into sandstone cliffs, two waterfalls accessible via hiking trails, wild caves, and dense woodland teeming with wildlife. The rugged geology makes this one of the most photographed parks in the state. The campground offers 72 developed tent, trailer, and RV campsites with electric and water hookups, along with 30 walk-in tent-only sites for those seeking a quieter experience closer to nature. Backcountry camping is available at 13 primitive sites for backpackers. All developed camping areas have access to modern comfort stations featuring hot showers and flush toilets, and a dump station serves RV campers. A camp store and gift shop provide essentials and souvenirs. Beyond camping, the park offers cottages and yurts for those preferring more comfort. The trail system provides options ranging from easy canyon rim walks to strenuous descents to the waterfalls. Rock climbing, geocaching, and disc golf are also available. The park operates year-round, with reservations available up to 14 months in advance through ReserveAmerica.

From I-59, take Exit 11 (Trenton/Rising Fawn) and head east on GA-136 for approximately 8 miles. Turn left onto Cloudland Canyon Park Road and follow signs to the park entrance at 122 Cloudland Canyon Park Road, Rising Fawn, GA 30738.
