At 437 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain with a vehicle stranded on a flooded roadway in Milford. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. Dover, Milford, Bowers, Big Stone Beach, Dover Base Housing, Rising Sun-Lebanon, Rising Sun, Frederica, Magnolia, Little Creek, Riverview and Woodside East.

Killens Pond State Park campground is centrally located in Kent County, fifteen miles south of Dover and within two hours of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington D.C. The year-round campground sits adjacent to the park's scenic 66-acre millpond, offering campers easy access to fishing, paddling, and the popular Pondside Loop Trail. The wooded setting provides well-shaded, level sites organized into multiple loops. The campground includes 59 sites equipped with water and electric hookups suitable for RVs, 17 walk-in tent-only sites for a more primitive experience, and 11 family cabins featuring efficiency kitchens, bathrooms with showers, and climate control. A deluxe Pond View Cottage offers additional amenities and outstanding views of the pond. All campsites include a picnic table and fire ring with grate. Facilities include clean bathhouses with free hot showers, flush toilets throughout, potable water stations, a dump station, and a camp store at the office. During winter months, water is available through frost-free spigots in loops C, D, and G. The park also features a nature center, amphitheater, playground, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and an on-site waterpark that operates seasonally.
Directions
From Dover, head south on US-13 for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto Paradise Alley Road, then left onto Killens Pond Road. The park entrance will be on your right.
