Indian River Marina, Delaware's largest marina, is located on the north shore of the Indian River Inlet within Delaware Seashore State Park. The facility serves as a premier destination for boaters seeking direct access to rich Atlantic Ocean and inland bay fishing grounds. The marina features a 294-slip floating dock system with water and electric service, along with 154 indoor dry storage racks for vessels up to 35 feet. The marina offers comprehensive boating amenities including a monitored public boat ramp with summer shuttle service, fuel dock carrying mid-grade gasoline and ultra-low sulfur diesel, full-service bait and tackle shop, fresh seafood market, and a working boat yard equipped with modern lifts. Hook'em & Cook'em provides bait, tackle, and fish cleaning services, while Dockside Marina Bar and Grill offers waterfront dining with live entertainment and boat bar access. Twelve rental cottages are available year-round, positioned along the inlet with beautiful sunset views. The Burton Island Trail offers hikers a quiet waterfront path through woods. Delaware's premier charter fishing fleet operates from the marina, with the head boat Judy V offering half-day and full-day inshore bottom fishing excursions. The marina is part of Delaware Seashore State Park, providing access to six miles of ocean and bay shoreline with opportunities for swimming, surfing, paddling, and bird watching.
