About
Delaware Seashore State Park campgrounds sit along a six-mile barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth and Indian River bays. Two distinct camping areas flank Indian River Inlet: North Inlet Campground with 88 full-hookup RV sites, and South Inlet Campground with 151 full-hookup sites, 86 standard sites without hookups, and 33 tent-only sites. A bridge connects both areas via a protected walking and biking path. The campgrounds feature modern amenities including bathhouses with hot showers and flush toilets, laundry facilities, drinking water, and an RV dump station. A seasonal camp store on the south side sells convenience items and souvenirs. Each campsite includes a picnic table. Pull-through sites are available, and the campgrounds accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length. Full-hookup sites provide 30- and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections. The park offers beach access, surf fishing along six miles of shoreline, swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding on the bays. Beach wheelchairs and mobility mats are available for accessibility. Campfires are prohibited throughout the park. Pets are permitted in campgrounds but must be leashed and attended at all times.
