About

Killens Pond State Park is centrally located in Kent County, Delaware, offering a year-round camping experience in a peaceful wooded setting. The campground features 59 developed sites with electric and water hookups suitable for both RVs and tents, plus 17 primitive walk-in tent sites for those seeking a more rustic experience. The park also offers family cabins and a deluxe cottage with pond views. The centerpiece of the park is the scenic 66-acre millpond along the Murderkill River, surrounded by mixed hardwood forest. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing, and miles of hiking and biking trails through the woods and fields. The park features a seasonal water park with spiraling slides and interactive water features, a nature center, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits, and the campground includes a centrally located bathhouse with flush toilets and showers. Killens Pond's central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Delaware, being approximately an hour from both the northern and southern parts of the state. The shaded, level sites provide a quiet retreat while offering easy access to the park's diverse recreational opportunities throughout all seasons.
