About

Pymatuning State Park Campground is the sole Ohio-side campground on 14,650-acre Pymatuning Lake, the largest lake in the state. With 352 campsites spread across three camping areas, the campground offers 331 sites with 20 or 30 amp electric hookups and 21 non-electric sites. Premium waterfront sites provide direct lake access for fishing and boating enthusiasts. The campground features modern amenities including heated showerhouses with flush toilets, coin-operated laundry facilities, two dump stations, and a camp store stocked with supplies and snacks. A small swimming beach near the center of the campground provides lake access, while additional recreation includes a playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and a nature center. Boat launches and fishing piers serve anglers targeting walleye, crappie, and bass. Pets are permitted in most of camping area 3 but not in areas 1 and 2. The park also offers three yurts sleeping 5-6 people, plus 58 cottages ranging from year-round heated family units to seasonal standard cottages available May through November.
