Mosquito Lake Campground

Mosquito Lake State Park Campground provides year-round camping on the shores of Ohio's third-largest inland lake. Located in Trumbull County near Cortland, the campground features 234 sites spread across several loops. Full-service sites offer water, electric, and sewer hookups, while standard electric sites provide 20, 30, or 50 amp service. Non-electric sites and walk-in tent camping options are also available. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring. The campground operates with full amenities from April through October, including modern showerhouses with flush toilets and a two-lane dump station with fresh water fill-up. Winter camping is available November through March with reduced services: showerhouses close and pit latrines are provided instead. Site water is turned off at full-service sites during winter months. Recreation options are extensive. The 7,850-acre lake offers excellent fishing for walleye, bass, crappie, and channel catfish. Five boat ramps provide lake access, and a marina offers fuel and boat rentals. A 600-foot sandy beach is open for swimming in summer. On land, campers can enjoy an 18-hole disc golf course, archery range, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, and playgrounds. The 5-acre dog park features separate areas for small and large dogs with direct lake access for swimming.

Directions

From State Route 305 in Cortland, turn north onto Bazetta Road (Hoagland Blackstub Road). The campground entrance is approximately half a mile north on Bazetta Road.
