Mosquito Lake Campground

Mosquito Lake State Park Campground sits within 2,483 acres of mature woodlands and marshes in northeast Ohio's Trumbull County. The campground offers over 230 sites with various configurations including electric and water hookups as well as non-electric primitive sites. Campers can choose between heavily wooded sites under the shade of hardwood trees or sites closer to the lakeshore. The park features Ohio's third-largest lake, providing excellent opportunities for walleye, bass, and northern pike fishing. Five boat launches, a marina with fuel pumps, boat rentals, and seasonal dock rentals serve boaters and anglers. A 600-foot sandy swimming beach offers summer recreation. The park includes 29 miles of snowmobile trails, 10 miles of horseback riding trails, and 5 miles of mountain biking trails. Additional amenities include a dog park and disc golf course. The campground provides modern facilities including showers, flush restrooms, a dump station, and picnic tables with grills at each site. The vast marshes and mature forests attract diverse wildlife, making it popular with nature enthusiasts and bird watchers. The campground has undergone recent electrification improvements to expand hookup availability.

Directions

Campground entrance is located on Bazetta Road (Hoagland Blackstub Road) half a mile north of State Route 305. Bazetta Road is located half a mile west of the main park entrance.
