* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Winds gusting 40 to 45 MPH. Wind chills Monday Night night and Tuesday Morning 5 to 15 degrees below zero. * WHERE...All of Southeast Michigan * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and poor visibilities. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds may cause localized power outages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Brief snow squalls are likely, leading to near white out conditions at times. Snow showers and squalls will be more frequent along and south of the I-69 corridor and along and north of the I-94 corridor.

Pontiac Lake Modern Campground sits within the 3,745-acre Pontiac Lake Recreation Area in Oakland County, offering 176 campsites across two loops. The campground features a variety of site types, from open and sunny to wooded and shady, with most sites offering 20- and 30-amp electric service and some 50-amp sites available. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, a sanitation station, and a playground. The campground is located approximately 2 miles from the day-use area, which boasts the longest beach in southeast Michigan at over half a mile. The recreation area is home to one of the most technical mountain bike trails in southeast Michigan, an 11-mile system that made the "Top 100 Trails" list in the United States. The 600-acre Pontiac Lake provides excellent fishing for bass, pike, and panfish, with boat launches available for all-sports watercraft activities. Additional recreational opportunities include 17 miles of equestrian trails, hunting, paddling, and winter activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. A separate equestrian campground with 25 rustic sites is available for horseback riders.
