About

Pine Creek Campground is a rustic, no-fee campground nestled on the eastern side of the Toquima Range in central Nevada's Monitor Valley. The namesake Pine Creek flows through the site, which features aspens and other trees providing welcome shade in this high-desert environment. The campground has 21 standard units plus one group site, all first-come, first-served. The Pine Creek Trailhead, located just outside the campground, provides direct access to the Alta Toquima Wilderness and connects to trails leading to Mount Jefferson. Additional trails access the Arc Dome Wilderness. A stock loading area with hitching rack is available for those traveling with horses. Nearby attractions include Devil's Punch Bowl and the historic mining towns of Belmont and Manhattan. This is a primitive campground with vault toilets but no potable water. Campers must bring all water and be prepared for self-sufficient camping. Dogs must remain on leash, and certified weed-free hay is required for stock animals.
